Stefon Diggs back at Bills minicamp Wednesday; Sean McDermott feels issues with WR have been ‘resolved’

Diggs returned to the field for practice on Wednesday and appeared to dispel speculation that he might be frustrated with the organization.

McDermott also told reporters on wednesday The team is in a “good position” with Diggs, adding, “I feel like it’s settled.” He explained that his description of Diggs’ situation as “very concerned” was due to his importance to the team, saying he allowed to leave After things get to the point where a break is needed.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen told reporters after practice that the issue had nothing to do with football.

“I know we’re working on something internally. It’s nothing to do with football, but Steff, he’s my man,” Allen said. “I’m sorry my…I fucking love him. He’s my brother. This wouldn’t work, what we’re doing here, without him.

“But I will support him no matter what.”

When Allen was asked to elaborate that Diggs’ absence had nothing to do with football, he said:

“I mean I think it’s not just about football, that’s basically what I’m saying,” Allen said. “I think there are football movies, one, and then there are things that happen because of football. I’m going to stick with that.”

Last season marked Diggs’ third time as a member of the Bills. In 49 career games for Buffalo, he ranks eighth in franchise history in receiving yards (4,189) and tied for sixth in receiving touchdowns (29).
