Prince Harry will have to leave US ‘if Trump ends up in the White House’

British TV presenter Dan Wootton said Prince Harry would be very worried if Trump ended up in the White House.

On his GB News programme, he said, “If Trump returns to power after the US government rejected a request to release the duke’s immigration documents, Prince Harry could find himself on the ‘first plane’ out of the US.”

He was referring to the Heritage Foundation’s request to make Harry’s visa application public after the Duke of Sussex admitted in his book that he had used illicit drugs.

The comments come days after a U.S. court heard a case brought by conservative thinking.

The Heritage Foundation asked the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release Harry’s immigration file, saying the case had generated “extensive public and media interest.”

In its response, the government said that while “the records sought may be of some public interest”, it does not currently see a need to make them public.

The Heritage Foundation noted in its complaint that other celebrities, including the late soccer star Maradona and the late singer Amy Winehouse, have been denied entry to the United States because of past drug use.

The Heritage Foundation’s previous request to release Harry’s immigration records was denied by U.S. authorities because it did not seek his consent.

Visa applicants to the United States are questioned about their past drug use and may be barred from entry, although there are exceptions and exemptions.

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are US citizens and moved to the US in January 2020 after resigning from royal duties.

Donald Trump was arrested in federal court on June 13 and booked on charges of mishandling classified documents last week

He was arraigned before Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman, The New York Times reported.
