announced last week, GB Studio Magazine aims to organize articles from the GB Studio Central site and present them in beautiful paper form. Led by Eric Mack, in terms of introductions, the magazine is meant to evoke Nintendo Power – and that’s clear from the lovely cover. The first cover shows the characters and settings of the sample game built into GB Studio, which is a nice little detail.
This magazine is not just for GB Studio lovers. These pages contain useful tips and tricks to ease you into the amazing world of GB Studio game development. It’s also very well put together, as you can see from the trailer above.
To celebrate the news, GB Studio Central is also running a giveaway where you can subscribe to the magazine for free for a year:
The inaugural issue is scheduled to go into production on June 19th, and you can snag a copy by signing up The magazine’s Patreon. You can sign up for three different levels to receive and support the magazine

Thereafter, the magazine will be published quarterly.
