2023 Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame Class unveiled


KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The 42nd annual Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame, presented by First Horizon, has announced the Class of 2023.

A dinner and installation ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, August 31 at the Knoxville Convention Center. Two-time SEC Player of the Year and National Basketball Players Association Vice President Grant Williams will be the speaker.Reception begins at 5:30 pm; Master of Ceremonies Bob Kesling to deliver welcome address prior to dinner at 6:30 pm Induction Ceremony begins at 7:30 pm

The Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame class of 2023 includes: John Adams (media), Billy Albaugh (football), Sarah Fickett Bailey (softball), Dr. Todd Bulgen ( Golf), Larry Cox (community contributor), Nicky Caldwell-Fargas (basketball), John Fritz (tennis), Gerald Hodges (official) , Bill Parker (coach) and Julia Storrs-Dilworth (swimming).

Seats are limited.access www.gkshof.org tickets. Buy tickets for $200 each, or a table of 10 for $2,000.Proceeds from all tickets and auctions Tennessee Valley Boys and Girls Clubsserving more than 7,200 youth at 22 club locations in Knox, Blount, Loudoun, Anderson and Claiborne counties.
